Dailymail reported, Scarlett Johansson wants a new life and love in London away from her ex-husband Ryan Reynolds.

Sources say Scarlett has visited an estate agent to help with her search for an apartment.

‘Scarlett doesn’t want any awkward run-ins with Ryan and Blake in New York, She was always a little uncomfortable about the fact that Ryan and Blake worked together while she was still married to him.

‘When Scarlett is in New York she keeps a low profile. She wants to give the whole party scene a miss.

‘She’s filming a movie called Under The Skin in Scotland at the moment but she is hoping to meet someone new. She adores British men and would love a place and a man in London.’

A spokesman for Scarlett tells me: ‘She is not making London her permanent base.’

Scarlett Johansson‘s representative has dismissed rumours that she’s fallen out with her mother over her finances.

Which Scarlett’s mother Melanie Sloan is in revealed she is suing for the return of a house deposit after she failed to secure a mortgage deal.

The rep tells ‘PageSix’ “Scarlett and Melanie are as close as they have ever been. They are incredibly proud of the solid and productive professional partnership they had through the many years they worked together. Their personal relationship is solid and loving.”

She was stunned when pals gathered in a lane between houses, under cover of darkness, to belt out Happy Birthday and hand her a cake in the shape of a WHITE VAN.

As the cake was brought out, delighted Scarlett beamed: “I can’t think of a better place to have my birthday. It’s been the best.”

The Lost in Translation actress, who was 27 on Tuesday, told residents at the party: “Thank you all for the birthday wishes. It means a lot.”

One on-looker said: “I reckon it’s the first time anyone, never mind a Hollywood star, has had a birthday party in a back lane in Port Glasgow.”

The estate sits at the top of the town, with maginifcent views across the Firth of Clyde. A local taxi driver, whose house backs onto the set, said: “I’d no idea they were filming I work nights, mate.”
